Always the same "usual places".

I never post links on any boards, I don't like to make trouble for the board mods.

Just tried this firmware release. Seems to work fine. I updated from 1.2+Geremia patched to 2.0 with no problems on my 47D. I extracted some ss.bin files from my original games with no problems (except the fact that i had to double press eject button to eject and close tray). SS files every time have small differences (compared with hex editor) but i think that this is not a problem with hitachi generated ss files as i heard before. I came across to another problem though. When trying to extract kameo and halo 1 (both original discs) to my my hdd using isobuster and the given lba's, i got an error message from isobuster that i had to cancel 2 times so the procedure could resume. I dont mean the message with replacing errors with zero's. That screen came later and i choosed zeros as should Wink . I think the error had to do something with an LBA error... Anyway ill try later. I havent created a full iso yet using this method and this fw because its already too late to do that now. Oh, and last but not least, when some times tried to boot 360 using eject and not power button, my 360 froze for some secs on 360 M$ logo and then i got the error screen E64 (fw error). Anyway 360 works fine , boots orinals and backups as it should Smiley Thx Garyopa. Maybe its just a small fw bug or its simple my hitachi (i have a dual mod on my hitachi because i bricked it in the past, but had no problems with the past fw releases). Opa give xtreme 3.0 to your people. May the Stealth be with Hitachi!!!!

P.s. What for is the Flash14.bat Huh

P.s. What for is the Flash14.bat Huh

Inside the Xtreme v2.0 release, is also the Xtreme v1.4 release, this release is the same as the Xtreme v1.3, except the
"Power-On with Open Tray" tweak was removed as not needed for just plain PLAYING of games.

You can use the FLASH14 batch if you want for some reason to remove the SS extraction part, and return system to just PLAY only mode.

A few quick questions, I am using the executor connectivity kit....to get it into the F900 mode I leave the debug of the connectivity kit off (Green) and boot the computer from cold with the tray open.....Is this correct?

Second....when using GetSS is it normal to only have 10 challenge/responses? I get 10 and then a few that are not avalible?

And finally when using ISOBUSTER I get an error saying the range in your readme file is out of range, is this normal?

Thanks for the help, I apologize for all of the dumb questions.

Just flashed my drive with this firmware and all looks good so far however when trying to get the ss i received an error of some sort cant remember what it was but i could not get the ss. and also when using isobuster it appeared as a cd and gave an error saying that the lba thingy was out of range or something so i had to click cancel twice to continue but it is working away as i speak so i'll soon see if it has worked. If any one has any ideas why this may be please leave some input.
Thanks

The F900 mode is the same as Mode B. Try with the debug mode on the x-kit, with the tray closed, it will also work that way.

I've got the error E64 too. This happens anytime i power on the box with drive empty. Maybe could you fix it on future releases? Huh

Anyway, the drive is working fine with originals and backups.

Thank you gary, finally i'll get some sleep... Grin
