HELP!!! PC WONT DETECT DRIVE!! TRIED EVERYTHING!!!

i have tried everything, im not sure if my bios settings are correct ive disabled raid and disabled all ide. i am using the pci sata card VIA VT6421l and i hav tried but for some reason i cant create my own hex edit,so if someone could send me the edited one to work thru email its simeonipicker@hotmail.com. wen i boot the pc it says that the drive isnt detected and that isnt on the mtkflash bit, thats before its even read the floppy, its wen the pci card is reading for a connected to device, then it says cant find device to continue press g. and i look in the bios and its not even showing the drive in there,

here is the things i have tried:
booted from xbox instead of connectivity kit,
various hot swaps, switching xbox on at differnt times,
all of these to no avail
so the last things i am is either the edited firmware becuz i am currently using 183c for the via chipset

wrong section.

that MB only has a RAID sata bios and doesn't support sata dvdroms like that.

so your saying even with a pci card it still isnt going to read the drive?

depends on your pci card. if it's raid-only it won't work.

Boot your sata pci card with a sata hdd connected. Once the boot disc has loaded swap the sata hdd with your 360 drive, then run the mtkflash command. Should work cos it worked for me!

O and use http://rapidshare.de/files/27024994/MTKVia.zip.html with your via card, might work for you.
