Is EA sports putting mod chip detection on games?

Just got my second copy of NCAA 06 baseball and this copy won't work either. I have never had a problem like this, my Madden 06 works fine as does my NCAA 06 football. Anyone know of anything like this? I have a X-ecutor lite installed (with no dashboard) the only games I have ever played have been retail and never any problems. Any help would be great
