For "hacker" reference only here is the output from our firmware studio:
So, since your tests are finished. Does that mean that your released document is up to date? So there where no more changes made to the code? Since i'm a linux user i have no use for your batch files and windows apps, so i can just go ahead, and use your reference to do the hex editing myself?

There is some mistakes in that earlier post. Best to wait for my release, and then take the PPF and GDR files, and make yourself a firmware. I have written a linux flashing script for myself, but I have not updated or tested it completely, if there is enough linux users out there, I will update the package to include support.

Hi garyopa, I don't understand why you say that the code is buggy. I have reread all the code and i found no problem: in 1/8 : i change the call sub_900a02d with jump 3380 In F900 Code whe don't need this call because in F900 it jump in 270D3 (movbu (word_5BF+1), D0). Than whe don't need D0 no more. in 2/8 : i jump tu 3398 and make the movbu (5bf+1),d0 only in mode A. But in f900 it jmp and write direct mov &b,D0. Than D0 is not needed at all. Etc..etc.. I have tested the the V2.0 on another computer and it received the same result as original F900 :-)

thx for the reply m8. Guess i'll just have to wait then. I've also written my own script (using kev's tools), so i don't have a need for a multi-os package, but it could proove usefull to less technical people. (or the lazy )

I had Xtreme v3.0 for Samsung for a while now. I don't worry work is moving already on Xtreme v3.0 for the Hitachi. Once Xtreme v2.0 is released later this week, I will update people with a status on the rest.

In any case, is there a way to prevent a check sum of the dvd firmware? I think that is really where we aree falling short.. I wouldn't call it stealth, i'd call it 1/2 stealth

You have this thing for putting us in this akward feeling suspence. First, you said all was finished and needed testing taking 48hrs. That was on the 29th. Then you said you might have it out by wednesday morning. Then you said you'd have it out on Monday, now you are saying it will be out later this week.... LOL! Very interesting. Whenever it is, I hope it is nice! But because of you I have been checking this site every 5 minutes. STOP LEADING ME ON! </endrant> C:\>ResumeHacking.exe -all Hey Gary,

And I live near the Beach, so better things to do then stare at the computer screen with tons of HEX on the screen. Anyhow, package is almost ready just one small quick fix needed for Windows'64bit users.

v1.3 already fixed alot of booting problems. Use a pioneer burner and/or better media. Not sure why NEC and PLEXTOR users can't burn discs right, I will need to buy one of these cheapo burners before I can make any improvements, if even possible.

Hi GaryOpa
Thnks for the great firmwares etc. Anyway i have some problems here.
My drive Hitachi 47H ( problem drive lol) had 1.3 buit it had massive bootproblems with different media altough mediasipport should be better in that version welll anyway i have my xbox drive now on the v2.0 and it got a littlwe better with the media but still a lot of media not working actually the only one working at the moment is verbatim.
I had 20 games on mediarange discs 15 did not start at all 5 did start but hang after a while or give an error like disc unreadable.
Further i trtied platinum they work a little better (they all boot ) but also after a while will hang or give the error it only takes longer to happen than the mediarange discs.
Well now im waiting for verbatim discs again when i have those i will post again. but i tought i should let you know this.
And one other question is it correct tjhat the 47H drive cannot be flashed with v2.1 since my friend has that version and has no problems but he has a 46D and the guy wich flashed the xboxes told us a 47H does not support it.
ow i forgot i burned the games with pioneer 111D since with my plextor it did not want to work but anyway pioneer rules for this kind of things
