Howdy,

Standard the 39SF020A SST is used for the FW, I was wondering if are alternate chips that could be used?

Reasen for asking is a couple of old broken Aladdin modchips with a 49LF020 SST chip. Is it possible to use this chip as a dual FW chip?

no. the 49LFxxx series is a LPC flash, completely different from parallel flash chips.
