the window looks quite cool, but that box stuck to it makes it look totally ass.

^ agree with that, the other thing is the edges around the window still look a bit wonky and ruff - go to your local hardware store and pick up a cheap file then get some 600grit sandpaper, makes really nice edges Wink

I would rotate the scoop 90 degrees counterclock wise . that would aim the pickup port to the bottom....and loose the jagged stuff or paint it red (It doesn't look like it's busting out of the box). if thats what you were trying to do. well not yet....I know it's a mod in progress. Hopefully it's not finished and you never have to send it back to M$  Shocked ....hehe  Grin

I don't care about "backups". I don't have a modified dvd firmware on my system yet. I do agree with fairuse. Why do people keep buying the same movie over and over as the format changes?  My Xbox 1s have XBMC and DOSBox etc.

ello i used the grinding and sanding bits then spent the next to days sanding it by hand with a pack of nailfiles and some fine sandpaper you have to cut it ruf first on slow speed then sand it more stright on a highr speed then clean it all up by hand thats what i did anyway still not finished yet tho

Hey, mucho better.

I hope you know that by adding lights to the unit it will generate more heat inside....prolly minute tho

also the addition of a fan draws more power (amps) and the motor generates more heat. but if you can offset the amp/heat gen by heat removed, your golden.

I have a friend that heated his room all 05/06 winter on his first box.....never opened it....finally gave up the ghost with the 0102 error in the summer. got it replaced and heated his room all last winter.

The Point here: they work much like little space heaters....hot in the winter, which is great....hot in summer....very bad.  I don't know any people that run heaters in the summertime.

If your looking for the melting up out. I would say you need bubbles around the external fan how you acheive this ???ionno. be creative!

originally I thought you were going for the hotrod look and sugested some red paint and point down the scoop so dirt or trash couldn't get in. but see that your casket of heat needs fresh air. with everything you have in there.

overall: Starting to look good....you going to do anything with the front? the side with the blue looks kool...allmost tribal....but if mine I would rotate the layout 180 degree's either way to show more of the ODD tray mod.

peace,
zil
