Time to resurect a long dead post.


Problem resolved with the 1.3 firmware. Now boots everytime.

I had to drop the Pot resistance to 3.05 and is now 100%

Thanks to everyone involved with the new firmware !

I am having a similar annoying problem with my Hitachi, but the 1.3 firmware does not help. My Hitachi reads all originals fine both games and movies, but wont read backups, not even movies. Ive tried many kinds of media incliding verbs, fujifilm, and memorex. They are burned with pioneer 111D with 1.23 firmware at 2.4x

I think I introduced this problem with a bad flash, but restoring my original doesn't seem to help.

Once apon a time when I didnt have my pioneer burner, I made a few discs and got a dirty disc error, but now hose discs just give an open trey error. I think before, it was able to detect the media, but the media was written incorrectly, but now its unable to detect the media at all. could someone please help me.
