Can you direct me to a good tutorial for the bad flash method! Worth having on standby if i cant figure this way out! although sure i did it correct from what i understand!
regards xboxto
I edited in a rudimentary version of it into my post. I gotta go to work or I'd have elaborated a bit more. I've been extremely busy of later, and will try to get the time to to write it down in more detail soon. I'm sure it's here somewhere, search the forums if my post isn't quite helpful enough. Thank Geremia for the bad flash recovery method That was where I got the idea when I did the ms19. Lol, yeah, you got yours figured out before I got mine figured out, I belive.

Thanks for the support! this forum rocks!
Some places are not too tolerant of newbies and beginners! but i think this place is an even balance! Luckily we are somewhere in the middle, done many consoles before and spent many hours of playing when MS did things before like changing xbox1's to 1.6 motherboards. Its all fun and games i guess even if you brick it and desperately spend another 2 days before you bring it magically back to life with the genius help from people on here!
Look forward to reading a good tutorial for ms28 drives with all options and methods! keep the good work up guys! believe me you're appreciated!

http://www.xboxhacker.net/forums/index.php?topic=670.msg6765#msg6765Unless MS tells mediatek to change the code inside the chip, it must work. About tutorial, probably some copy&paste journalist have missed the old threads about playing with mtkflash, or was not able to desolder a resistor so writed "Various solutions were offered by the group, none of which worked". @Pringle your key is keynumber 0C, you can put without problem at position 02 and fill FF after. Should we be using xtreme 2.0?
I have reliably used the older xtreme-proper.bin from the 1.2 i think for tsh943!

I tried the hex thing back on the xbox1 for the xboxdash.xbe file to get the msdash to work with the exploit softmod!
I followed it exact and i mean exact! and it still never worked for me which lead me to downloading the file already patched!
Seems hex can be funny sometimes and mistakes are costly! Remember to keep your original bin file safe i think applies here!
