I just attempted to flash the 1.1 firmware for the 47d, right off the bat it froze my computer, i think it froze my computer while dumping, but i am not sure. I have not turned off the xbox 360 yet and the light on it is still freezing, but my bios no longer detects the drive and i cannot boot into windows (windows freezes during boot). I think my 360 dvd drive has frozen because i can no longer eject it (i could before my computer froze, so its not because off crosswire).

Any ideas?

I rebooted and everything was fine, modified the bat file to add pauses and everything went according to plan from there. Getting some blank media tomorrow to test out

That's cool. I think everyone should use the geebee .bat files or add pauses themselves. I'm always paranoid, do I wait 10 secs between each section and I haven't had a problem yet.

It still is pretty random, waiting 10 seconds doesn't always make it work. Waiting 10 seconds between each step took 4-5 tries to complete.
