Hi there, my story is simple.
I had to reflash a liteon 74850C for a friend.
First of all i've tryed the mra but i doesn't worked so i have repaired all the lines.
Then i build up a probe to extract the key , when i was extracting the key on JF accidentally my noodle touched mpx03 with mpx01, and failed the extraction (also my xbox started to blink on power led). Tried again and it was success. i flashed before to stock then LT.
But the fact is that , it seems to be dead , laser doesn't power up, tray also. I've noticed only a little sound when i touch the eject button.
My southbridge is ok, all the voltages on the connector are ok. I have also tested all the 0 R , and the transistor (near r707,r708) gave me 1,81 (middle pin) 5 v (third pin) 1,81 (upper pin).
I can flash it in a couple of minutes but it doesn't move at all.
My Mt chip gets hot but not soo much.
i've also noticed that the power led on the xbox blinks when i hit the eject button and hold like this, also sometimes when i push the button the console restarts itself. So there must be a short somewhere on the dvd pcb. I've searched all over internet to find some infos about mpx03 but nothing.

Thanks to everyone

Ps if needed i can post pics.

check the following for continuity.  if it doesn't have it, it needs it.
