i was just wondering if its ok to power on the 360 while the progskeet is still soldered on , in the ps3 its ok to power on while its still soldered , so i thought that its ok , now i have an error 0022 , i removed it and still the error the same , in case you ask about about my soldering skills , im a pro , ive been doing soldering for 15 years ,
to sum up every thing :
i installed the coolrunner
then soldered the progskeet ,
dumped the nand fully (raw)
flashed a freeboot patched nand of my dump
powered up while progskeet on but usb pulled out and r7 and r8 are open
coolrunner not blinking green even though its programmed with the right code for jasper
now desoldered progskeet still nothing different , no green blinking ,
restored to original from last dump = error 0022
removed coolrunner still error 0022

my main question is : is it wrong to power on the console if the progskeet is still soldered on , will it do any problems with the southbridge or any other components ?

was this a tx coolrunner rev c.? was the cap jumper closed? reason i ask is i've found that the rev c coolrunner can fry the cpu when the cap jumper is closed. i've lost a falcon and a jasper this way. i am not saying the tx chip does this every time, i have 2 jaspers that are fine with the cap jumper closed. but the 2 i lost were trying to glitch without the cap jumper closed, as soon as i closed the jumper, no more blinking green light, and 0022 after 6-7 seconds. i no longer use the onboard cap on tx chips, i always add my own and start with a 470 pf, and try different values until i find good glitch times.

fry the cpu ? thats harsh ,  i think i didnt bridge it , no , its a rev c yes ,i think its a weird thig that the cpu gets fried , the error 0022 is related to the cpu in some cases yes , i do reballing some times , i know that when the cpu is removed it gives an error 0022 if you tried to power the board on ,
you might have some point here , the green led on cool runner isnt blinking , it might be related to a dead cpu , i rellay wish its not the case , ill try more with this board and will report if any luck

a southbridge problem is typically 0021, though it could cause 0022. 0022 is just an unknown system halt.

ah ha , unknown system hault , that gave me a better idea ,

guys , dont ever use progskeet for xbox360 , it the worst tool for this matter , its the best for ps3 but for xbox360 its the worst , its a normal thing to corrupt your nand flash using winskeet  the software bundled with progskeet , this utility is still very bad and it will not detect the chip correctly most of the time no matter what you do , the main problem was a corrupted flash(the dump was OK several times but flashind didnt go well) , i used nand-x to flash it back , and now it works , error 0022 as i noticed will appear if you are on stock nand dump but any thing gets corrupted , this error will appear if so , i used progskeet many times to rewrite the flash but each time it some how manages to corrupt it , that was the whole thing , it made me think there might be some thing gone wrong with the hardware since it got always to the same error ,
thanks every body for your time,
