We are stuck trying to program the cr chip. Can we use the usb jtag spi to flash it? There are posts that say yes and no so we hope somebody has a definite answer. If we need a jtag cable or a device like nand-x, please let us know.

Biting the bullet and getting Xecuter Nand-X Rgh Edittion for XBOX 360 http://www.eforchina.com/view/79410/Nand-X-&-JTAG-Connection-Kit-for-XBOX-360--Xecuter-.htm?source=linkshare&siteID=j7HtbwFjMlY-f0xK_vI7RRqgGi2RoQ8jIg
and we hope this solves the problem with programming the cr II chip. We are having issues with soldering the stby_clk c3b2 and cpu_pll_bypass r7r17 and hope the qsb will make this easier to solder these points. What type of solder flux is best, paste or no clean, to use in this application? The paste seems to be the easiest to work with for wires and headers but don't know about qsb's.

Thanks again for all the help so far.

Failed to create ecc image

Looked online and they said error 250 is only an issue if it's in the first 50 blocks, Y/N?
we got the coolrunner 2 and can't find a good diagram for wiring it to a phat box. Plenty on cr1 but not so much on cr2 chip. is this another wiring issue? we used the qsb for phat's and it made it easier. Using no-clean flux for connections but we want to make sure we're doing it right and not wasting more money. We don't have a lpt port on this pc and hope to get this figured out using the nand x since it's the most popular solution using usb. Has anyone had similar issues?

do you have the coolrunner installed while your try to dump nand if so that could be your problem! remove 3.3v wire from coolrunner and try again!
