Hi

I have an xbox that when I boot it it says to insert the game disc to continue the update. I presume it was updated sometime in the past and it was switched off before being completed.

No matter what game (New or old) I put in I cannot get it to complete the update and I cannot use the console till I complete the update.

Is it possible to read the NAND and somehow remove this update request or do something so I can use the xbox? It is an old model with non-HDMI.

Any help would be appreciated. I have read up on reading the NAND and I would use an LPT cable to do this

Thanks

do you have your drive flashed with LT+ firmware or has your drive been swapped out for another one! if so you will have to update the firmware to the latest on the drive and if its been spoof to another drive undo the spoof and replace the drive with the correct one it needs and try the update again and it should now work! hope that helps m8

Bought it second hand and I think the drive is spoofed. Any way to update with the correct drive (reading the nand and changing it?)?
Not an expert in the NAND side of things so not sure what I can alter on it once I have read it to my PC

no you DONT have to touch the nand as its impossible to change anything on the keyvault! all you have to do is read the drive via jungleflasher and the get the drive that was meant to be in it and flash your key to it and it will update then! when you are finished the update you can put the spoof drive back in if you wanted to! so what am saying is you could borrow the drive from another console to get it working! just make sure you have the key saved from the borrowed drive but you flash your key lol hopr that helps m8!
