I have an old 20GB Fujitsu 360 drive that I converted to FAT32 to use with my media player and put a 320GB drive in my 360 with the info from the 20GB HD in HDDHackr. Now my Netbook drive died and I want to use my 320GB in it. I went to restore the Fujitsu since I don't store much data on my 360 anyways, but I can't. I don't have a backup of it. I tried cloning it from my other 20GB drive but its a Seagate so it won't work. I tried the WinHex NHPA trick and nothing. My 360 will not see it. Xplorer360 sees it, but that's it. I read that I need the info that I failed to backup, but of course I don't have it. But that info should be on the 320GB WD since its running in the same 360. Is it possible to restore it, or is it junk? I don't need any of the data off it, I just want to be able to format it from the dashboard.

If you had put the 320 GB HDD in with the hdss from the 20GB, it would have shown up only as a 20 GB drive. Since you don't have the security data needed, the 20GB will not work in a 360 again. That data is unique and encrypted.

I do NOT give support by email, PM, ICQ or whatever. Anyone annoying me that way will have his balls removed. With a rusty butterknife. Slowly. And I'll enjoy doing it.
