Jasper BB consoles with 6751 CB do have issues. I can confirm. In the last month I have glitched about 30 Jaspers now, all using Xecuter Coolrunners /w their cap and the same wire path. Nearly every single console boots within 5s EXCEPT for 3 6751CB Jasper BB consoles. These consoles do not boot at all.

What will happen is I will build an ecc normally using 360 Multi Builder, and after wiring everything up in the same way as normal, these consoles do not boot. The green light will blink as if it is attempting to glitch, and eventually it will stop blinking (as if it did glitch) but xell never shows. If I remove the cap, itll blink more times (as if its attempting to glitch and its taking longer) and will eventually stop blinking but will never show xell. Changing my wiring path seems to have no effect except for sometimes making the green light blink a few more times, which is expected.

This is not just for 512MB jaspers, the problem exists in 256MB also. It also doesnt happen to all 6751CB BigBlock Jaspers, only about a quarter of them. I don't have enough technical knowledge to understand how to fix or work on something like this, but I do have consoles with the issue to test solutions etc...

To me, it looks like these consoles are glitching, but xell just isnt showing up, and I don't understand why ~_~

i have seen a 512 jasper do this as well. have yet to find a solution. console appears to glitch normally, stops like a successful glitch but nothing on screen. also was 6751. i cant remember what the post showed but i believe it was an undocumented code or a code that shouldnt even appear (kernel related).

I don't know if the following will work for you, but it might.

I had this issue once with a 256mb Arcade CB 6751 and the last thing I did and that made it work was to have a full backup of my nand, after ERASE it all, everything!!! and than just flash .ecc to load Xell and BAM!!! on the first green light it booted to Xell and I resumed after flashing the rest of the nand via RawFlash v4.

Like I said, this is my scenario since I normally just backup the first 80 blocks to dump the rest through Xellous... so this was my solution.

interesting. I usually read the whole 64MB section for each console, but I will try to do a -e256 / -e512 and then write only the .ecc and maybe that will work.

It looks more like the consoles are just having some odd error rather than in incompatibility, so maybe something like this will work. Ill post results when I get back to the shop and can give this a try.

I tried an erase and reflashing just xell on the board: No change. Still shows the same issues as before... Any more ideas?? It seems like more and more people are encountering this. I have 3 boards that are doing it now.

the original NAND it starts normally? If possible take picture of the CPU_PLL point was to see how the soldering. Where is the wire going CPU_RESET?

Have you tried using 6750 CB? There's no LDV difference between the two, so use 6750 for xell, etc.

I had a JasperBB 6751, that, flashed with 6750, booted on first glitch every time.

I've noticed the phenomena where the board stops glitching, as if it glitched already, but the console doesn't boot. In my experience, the problem had to do with wiring. My CPU_PLL wire went under the x-clamps, causing just enough interference to cause the xbox to not boot. I think I've had a couple CB6751 Jaspers with no issues since having to be really anal about the wires..

The TX routing diagrams help, though I don't remember if it was original or the first alt layout.
