I hope you enjoy this, it will output post changes to serial port and to 7segment displays, inputdata = post, can be configured to your liking. Smiley

wouldnt case statement generate more complex code than simple logic select?

synthesis of both cases are going to end up as one single full block, only varying a one-hot selection on two signals
