I have a Xbox360 Slim 0033. Turn on and quickly red light. I tried something bad and what is found in the attached photo. The motherboard is shorted in C7F2 (red circle). The capacitor off the board is working normally. I removed the resistor R7F1 and found this image under it (yellow arrow). Could anyone help me?

Anyone know the track of the temperature sensor in Slim?

Portuguese:

Tenho um console xbox 360 Slim com 0033. Ligo ele e rapidamente dá luz vermelha. Eu removi o R7F1 e encontrei a placa tipo queimada (seta amarela). Alguém tem alguma idéia?

Alguém sabe qual a trilha do sensor de temperatura do Slim?

Some important chip shorted out and did over current the resistor, making it heat and burn the board under it. I don't think you will be able to repair that, sadly.

Very likely the CGPU or the video output part of HANA is shorted out.

Thanks for the reply, l_oliveira (I thought nobody would answer me). It would be loss of time I look for components open or short(Type diode, transistor or resistor)?

I will definitely make the reballing CGPU and if you need the HANA. I hope to resolve. Will post the results.

Postarei resultados.

I have the exact same problem... with short on C7F2.  Anyone find a solution or is the board toast?

 Edsondario,

I have the same problem. After a reflow the x box returns error 0033. Reball the CGPU and be happy.

Actually I managed to fix this problem... flushed the board with alcohol and dried it... works fine now.  Strange though because there still is a short on C7F2.
