Hey dudes im new at this forum, i will explain my case:
-To facilitate and expedite the whole process of reading a NAND Falcon plate, which I did was read the first 2 megs of NAND, I create and then write it NANDXell LPT cable. until there, so good.
-I turn on the console, and well, I start the Xell, showing all the fuses, the CPU key and Key Reader, then i connect the network cable from console to PC, and all the NAND dumpeo twice and then compare. Everything OK, are accurate ...
-I'm going to AutoGG again, I open one and I MSAMPLE dumpers everything right, I give the Dash version 14719 (latest), I give to create image, then I give and I believe RawFlash in the stick, ready to be flashed via Xell.
-Turn on the console with the Xell, start the whole process of writing and I jump for two error messages: Seems bad block 0x280, status 0x00000210 and another in the 0x328 block.
-When I finish the whole process, I turn off the console and then turn on the Power button, and it is infinitely blinking yellow light, however if Xell boot with no problem. The question is why Xell runs and Dash not? Why xbox360 runs when it wants (1 of 100 times) :S
Sorry for my english...
Thanks!

No. The LDV would not match.

Use XeBuildGUI here you can get all the info (cpu key, ldv values) directly from xell when you build your image.

Good luck

If you can run xell you can run any freeboot you like. There is nothing wrong with your version or your chip if xell runs.

It probably is just like arakon said your LDV value which you can only fix if you read the manuall!!

Ok now I'm curious, bad blocks could indeed be a problem why freeboot would not boot but you can solve that by remapping the bad blocks...

And if you allready done that and freeboot boots why do you still need a patch for your chip??

But you can boot xell???

Haha, really the chip is just to bypass CB. If the console can boot xell then it should be able to boot freeboot no problem.

The way xell works (for newbies to understand):
1BL => CB => Glitch validation of CD => Custom Zero paired CD => Xell

The way freeboot works:
1BL => CB => Glitch validation of CD => Custom CD => Freeboot

The zero paired image can boot without LDV values correct (that's cause it's meant to retrieve the fuse values).

But to boot freeboot you need your correct LDV values (you retrieved from xell)

The chip is only there to to glitch the validation of CD in CB so we can load are own CD.

So now you see, no matter what your friend says. The chip is only there to glitch the CD validation. Everything afterwards is pure software.

Hope this helps,

Regards
