Hey everyone,

Having a hell of a time getting Evox on this xbox i just put a Xecuter2.6 CE chip in. I flashed it with the most recent Xecuter bios from #xbins successfully,  Now when I burn the Evox HD Prep / Evox disc to be able to format my new drive, I can't get any of them to read. I've used 2 different Thomson DVD drives, and borrowed my friends Samsung DVD drive to see if it was just the thomson being a piece of $#!t.. But now I'm beginning to believe it could just be the brand of discs that i'm burning the xiso's to...  What brands are good brands to use?  I've used:

Memorex CD-RW
Verbatim DVD+R

Also does anyone know if the HD is formatted as FAT(32) or how its formatted? If I could figure that out I could probly just format the new drive w/ linux and put the evox files / partitions on there manually. Much appreciated!

Use DVD-R (not DVD+R) to burn the image. The Xbox partition table is hard coded in BIOS.

I suggest using SlaYers Auto-Installer v2.7 instead, it will do the HD formatting and you can choose the EvolutionX dashboard during install.
