Probably FCRT problem, try using my xeBuild GUI and use the "No FCRT.bin check" patch which disables that requirement, should work fine for you since you're using 0401 drive, 1175 drives are the ONLY drive i know of that the FCRT.bin patch don't work on

Put your old "not updated KV" back. That will probably solve all of your problems (keep fcrt.bin out though)

It is very common that it get's f*cked, try just unplugging it from the mobo and plugging it back in, i've had similar errors which was fixed using this extremly simple method, i have no idea why it works, but it does Tongue

If this doesn't work, try replacing it completly

Play and charge do not connect the controller to the console. It has a partial connection which is only used to PAIR the console with the controller AND VERIFY if the battery is charged.

The actual play commands are sent through the RF board still. So if the RF board ONLY NATIVE WIRED controllers will work on your console. And that has nothing to do with mangled keyvault.

FYI, you can use a Wireless controller receiver for Windows in one of the XBOX360 USB ports as a test. If the controller syncs to that (use the button on the receiver instead of the one on the console) then you will be 1000% sure it's the RF board that is faulty.
