Hi,

I have a console with a empty nand, and i dont have the nand contents.
This machine is glitchable, but can i write a ECC file in a empty nand to let it glitch so i can get my CPU key and build a donor?
Or is some of the data of the nand needed for glitching

Sure you can write the ecc file. Nothing else is needed.

The way .ecc is built on dual CB machines like trinity, you need the cpu key or in the least the original encrypted CB_B data (cpukey encrypted) otherwise you will have nothing to apply the glitch patches to or glitch.

Single CB machines, you can get away with not having your cpu key or original data because of zeropairing.

edit:/ sorry to provide a conflicting answer, feel free to try it anyway as you've got nothing to lose if the nand is already wiped...

Ah, sorry.. I wasn't aware it's different for Trinity.
