Using XBox 360 Remote to control RC device
« on: February 27, 2012, 11:47:55 AM »

Does anyone know the protocol that the remote uses at the 2.4 GHz frequency in order to define each button and joystick motion.  For example, what type of modulation is used PM, AM, FM.  Any information is greatly appreciated.

You will need a computer to do what you want to, because the protocol is DIGITAL and VERY complex.

It's actually more like an "tunnel" where USB like computer communication is transmitted through an "bluetooth like" RF channel. That's why I said you will need an computer device to decode and translate the signals.

It's a Rough World
