i have done until today sprox 35 consoles
all glitched fine
but today i came across a slim that just wont glitch!!! redone soldering 3 times changed 2 coolrunners to make sure
played with cable length tried everything!!!!!!!
my soldering is fine i promise done to may jtags and RGH and soldering is PERFECT
so my question is are there any suggestions???

Have u tried alternative points? Just a thought as had a slim like urs and tried as last resort and it fired up.

try leaving it on for like 5 hours or overnight trying to boot.

If it does, it may be that your getting some kind of interference that is messing with the timing.

If it doesnt boot, something is very wrong, try flashing original nand and removing rgh. Also listen for a slight ticking sound every 5-6 seconds to check if its glitching. quick ticks is a good sign of interference.

A pic of your perfect soldering then please.

Also, what tool are you using to make the ECC image?

Does the console still boot with the first 50 blocks flashed back?

no nedd for a pic
sinced i used multibuilder 0.3 instead of multibuilder 0.7
and instant boot!!
so yes soldering was perfect not my firs glitch belive me

No reason why 0.7 wouldn't work if 0.3 does, since they use the same python script for ECC building.

so how do you explain that with the same setup(solder work was not touched)
tried multibuilder 0.7 3 times! no boot
and with 0.3 first boot

Without seeing the python log, I have no idea.

I've been using 0.7 for what seems like ages now with zero issues.

Did you try re-extracting and recreating the ECC from fresh files (in case you or your PC has modified any of the files in error)?
