hi people, reset glitched my slim a few weeks back and just tried to run the 10.10 live cd from usb and cd. and when i boot into xell reloaded it just sits at the "executing" bit. do i need a diffrent version of xell to run from xell-launch or is there something wrong with xell reloadeD?

for the slim I've noticed that the usb must be present before boot

I've read that you must run XellLaunch with xell.bin in it in order to get it to boot, or else you'll get what you are having. I have not tried this to confirm it but I do know that this doesn't happen on JTAG hacked consoles.

Doesn't matter wether you are booting XeLL native or via XeLL-Launch. Also JTAGs never had problems booting Linux afaik, only Glitch Consoles were affected (timebase stuff the linux kernel expects)
