hi all i have just brought the LiteOn IHAS224-19 24x DVD-SM Drive LightScribe SATA put it in done firmware and every thing done disk verify 100% put it in xbox mainscreen came up with play game hit it screen went black as if loading for 5 seconds and went back to main screen done this with every game over 7.5gb if under 7.5gb write and plays fine any ideas.

forgot to mention that i was banned on xbl  a year ago and dont play online i have tried tintin,battlefield 3 and mw3 and they all do the same thing black screed as if loading but back to main screen in 5 seconds i d/loaded red redemption and that burnt and plays fine.

u dont have LT2.0 on ur xbox for XGD3 Backups to work man! if u have a sata connection on ur pc its easy to do!

LT+ v2.0   RELEASED   
This version adds support for XGD3 backups, including the LT-MAX feature which allows burning XGD3 ISOs on regular DVD+R DL media.

also when you ripped your originals, did you also rip the security part on the disc, i.e., the ap.2.5 data etc.

not originals i d/loaded them 3 how do i find out what LT firmware i have on xbox and i got it reflashed about 5 months ago after the firmware was reset by microsoft when updated dashboard.
can i flash the xbox  my self is it hard to do and what do i need to do it.

u need a sata port on ur pc and a probe to retrieve key! its simple to make a probe all u need is a crocodile clip and a test lead from a multimeter and all u do is connect the end of the test cable to the crocodile  key earth it to the shell of the xbox and then probe MPX01 when using Phat Key option!
