Hello,

My 360 firmware LT 2.0 recently had no problem playing back ups of GOW3, FIFA 12 and CODMW3 for a week or so as I played them even last night. Today, it won't boot any of these recent backup and presents the error "disc unsupported". I tried playing my old backups and original games to verify and they all work.

I'm not sure what the problems is with the GD3 backups... Is it my laser selectively crapping out on these images or am I flagged?

Thanks!

I downloaded the latest update in MW3... great... Thanks for the help guys!

P.S.: Am I screwed now? Can't I reverse this?

If your old backups still work, it means that you still have LT on your drive.  Most likely your backups are failing new AP2.5 checks.  Re-rip/re-burn your backups with the new dae.bin.

Edit: It looks like dae.bin is being updated on the fly now and is now console specific.

It looks like the only way to play safe backups at the moment is to
A. Disconnect from live.
B. Grab your personal dae.bin from your nand.
C. Re-rip your original with 0800 drive and your dae.bin.
D. Reburn, play.
E. Stay off live altogether.

There is a solution to this, some claim it works as for others not so much. I'll try to post the solution here.

Of course there's a solution. Use the original for now.

Actually there is a workaround using a title update on an MU, and then removing the hard disks cache. I was sceptical but it worked. It was posted in the other thread. But the file downloads again after the game boots, so you have to do it every time. Not worth the bother really, and it will get patched in next update likely.
