I have a brand new Xbox 360 Slim that doesn't work well. Its almost impossible to sync the controller and after I shutdown the Xbox it doesn't remember.
I can only sync via Play&Charge cable after about 50 tries.
No lights work on Xbox 360 Slim.
I tried replacing the front unit that has sync button as well as faceplate. Nothing works. Any idea how I could fix it? I do have a broken Slim with spare parts.

Yes, it was brand new and didn't work out of the box. And its hard to send into warranty over here, thats why I would like to fix it.
And its Gears of War 3 Limited Edition Grin

I tried several controllers, wireless and wired.

The shop you bought it from can return it if it has failed within warranty and you have proof of purchase. Or you could have sent it off, and MS pay shipping. You are mad to open it while in warranty when it was faulty out of the box after paying all that cash.

Please ignore that its new, trust me I can not send it into warranty, MS doesn't support my country, and I purchased it from a wholesaler in UK.

Just want to fix it.
