help injekting key to a 0225 drive

Hi
i bought a slim 360 without a dvd drive ( dont ask me where is i have no idea but it was cheap enough )
so i got it RGH and now i have the dvd key and the drive model (  0225 )
i am trying to build a firware with that key on jungleflasher but it simply isnt working the keys somehow doesnt save on the drive .
is there anpther way of doing it ? or am i doing something wrong with JF ?
all i do is open target firmware . do manual spoofing - add the key . save . no go
many thanks in advance .

oh and one more thing , can i change to a different dvd drive ? can i use a benq or or a fat liteon ?

forget it, there is a way to write the key on a fw using lizard toolbox then flashing with JF

but if the xbox slim original drive was a 0225, getting the key would get you nowhere... it will show PLAY DVD to every single backup you try...

Just a quick question as I don't own a slim myself. But can't ggbuild easilly be patch with a different dvd drive (keyvault)??

It won't allow you to play on live but it will allow you to play games.

As an alternative you can for now use ggbuild to transfer games with ISO2GOD to a hard drive of your slim. This way you can also play your games...

Some people owning a jtag don't even have a dvd drive. They just modded it out cause it makes to much noise :p

That's not so possible, editing the KV will give you Christmas lights in a FAT, don't know about slims, you can toss a different drive as is, I have a Falcon with 7485 in OSIG, using Sammy as normal, don't try to spoof it or it will show E66, let it be whatever it originally is.

Given 0225 drives needs more info, it could be possible that no other drive will work, only available workaround would be to permanently glitch.

swapping kv gives you xmas lights because the kv is hashed. so when its changed the console knows its not correct. most xenons do not have a hash-checked kv and can be changed at will. however, all new consoles do have the check. the hash checked was also patched out of the earlier freeboot dashboards but not now.
