you need to install dashlaunch, and set it to boot to FSD on your USB hdd

inside the dashlaunch folder you will see an info_launch.ini file

edit the settings within it to set the default boot path to wherever you have your FSD stored

eg Usb:\Apps\FSD2\default.xex

hint: read the readme, it tells you how to install it oddly enough!!

simples!!

bealive me i have read the readme more then once .
what i am trying to do is have an icon on the GAMES menu in NXE for FSD the same as the one i have for xexmenu .
for the xexmenu all i had to do is create 2 folders on the memory stick ( 00000000000 code999 etc.. )
is it possible to do also with FSD  ?

Take the info_launch.ini and rename it to launch.ini, copy it to the root of your FAT32 formatted USB, re-run the dashlaunch installer, it will detect the file, and will ask you if you want to change configuration, choose yes and set it as you like it, more easy, impossible.

also, you can copy the modified launch.ini from the usb to the internal hard drive.

why bother with that?

you can set FSD to boot on a button press on dashboard launch, much faster than browsing to an icon within the nxe menu

not sure how you would do it the way you want, perhaps copy the FSD dir to you hdd1/content/0000000000000/code999/FSD/ or something like that.
