I used nandpro3.0, as in - 'nandpro xsvf: trinity1.1.xsvf'

And I just got my first glitch!!!

I was running out of wire to cut, so in a final bid... took a small ceramic capacitor and hand-held it between POST_OUT (J9) and GND, and XELL pop right up!  Shocked

Hopeful for good result after I solder it in, btw capacitor has a 33J marking... is that 33pf?

i just did a rgh2 install on a falcon. i converted a fat chip for this by removing the diodes, r1a, c1a, and r2a. also dont add the cap to c1b, i thought i needed to and it wouldnt glitch at all. removed the cap and glitches within 30 seconds, usually around 10 sec though. not bad IMO for a $10 chip.

connections:

j1- gnd
j2- pwr
j3- hana clk
j4b- scl
j5b- sda
j6- cpu rst
j9- post out

Thanks for the instruction. Could you please clarify some things:
1. What about slim/fat points. Which of them should be bridged?
2. What firmware do you use for rgh2?
3. What CPU_RST wire do you use. And what's it lenght?

its been a while since i used one of these, but if memory serves me correctly,

1. slim jumper closed

2. i used falcon 3 timing from jrunner, though you should try all 4 options and choose whichever is best for you

3. i used a stranded 20 awg about 12" routed over the fan duct, wire cut with @ 6" with a 3.3k resistor and a 470pf ceramic cap inline. be careful here, connect the legs or the resistor and cap to each other then they go inline on the rst wire. there is a post @ TX forums covering this type of setup for cpu rst.
