please help don't understand what/how to repair the trace from a slim (doesn't turn on only beep noise)
http://imageshack.us/f/526/imag0376t.jpg/
1) should i solder a wire from the R3B15 left pad to the FT2R2 (is this for slim ? because i don't see my point similar to the picture or is that for falcon? ) OR
2) should i solder a wire from the R3B15 left pad to the FT3N2 if make this and the console starts where should i connect the wire from the glitcher, to the  FT3N2 or the right side of C3B10

Thanks !

This is correct. Wire the glitcher from FT3N2/R3B15. I had the exact same problem and solved it this way.
I think FT3N2 should be used instead of C3B10 from the start, much less risk to bust it.

I've been testing differnt lengh wires on my slim today however I just accidentaly pulled the wire going to the FT4R2 point, the pad has now come out. Is there an alternative to FT4R2 on a slim?

For slim 4gb, where are test points and alternative points for nand reading/writing.  Testing my wires also.

Much easier spot to solder to for the stby clk

don't go here or risk removing resistors or the pad etc.

MUUUUCH MUUUCH easier

PHAT - falcon/zephyr/some jaspers

Phat - jasper kronos - thanks to oggy or kipper

SLIM - thank you spkleader for the picture and the point

Just want to point out that if you are doing dual boot with Cygnos and use the alt pont from the PHAT (i tested and zeronex too) you will get 0022 with the original nand

Dont know why, but the only way we were able to boot the original nand was to use the original hana point

Does anyone know what the values are for the R4D4 alt point on the xbox slim? I lifted a pad on the underside (FT4R2) and was attempting to use the alt point when the small cap? came loose and I lost in by dropping it. Does anyone know if it was just a smd bridge with 0 ohms or had a actual value and I can use a resistor/capacitor in it's place? I also have a old xbox 1 laying around I can maybe pull smd's from.

the cpu side of R4D4 is a alt for CPU_RST (J6) on the slim.

Thanks

I found many other alt points on top of the board, the last of which is right  next to the SB...

now, I know R4D5 is 1.5k ohm... anyone have an open slim that they can test R4D4? Customer brought me their slim and it's missing.  They straight bridged the points and system boots normally, but I don't want to put a glitch chip back in until I get a suitable replacement resistor in there.

--EDIT--
R4D4 is 1.215k ohm

Hello,

Maybe a little stupid question about cpu_pll_bypass point.. If it's done from the new point (from the foot of the resistor), it is certainly needed to solder the wire to the another point shown in this picture: http://img202.imageshack.us/img202/5770/regfix20.jpg and not to the glitcher? If it needs to be done, what is the point where wire should go to ther glitcher chip then?  Huh

EDIT: Just to make clear, it glitches if I keep a needle in the original bypass point, but no if the wire is connected to the resistor. Should it?

All right, I used my mad paint skillz little. Is this the way it needs to be done if the original bypass point got ripped off? Btw, I bought some capacitors for optimizing. Thank you in advance!

I lifted a point and had to wire from trace to the capacitor on top of board.  Ft4r2?  I can see it but forget the name.  Lifted points can be fixed, and with patience, diagnosis, right approach; almost anything is repairable.  Had 0032 error code and fixed it.  Bypass/bridge is useful approach:-)

I am so confused...  I killed the DEFAULT pad for the CPU_PLL_BYPASS.  All other points are good.  I can read the Nand and dump the .ecc.  When it come to Glitching, it does not work.  I'm assuming the screw up on the Green wire (CPU_PLL_BPASS) coming from the Coolrunner.  The PAD is done.  It seems like the ALT CPU_PLL_BYPASS on this thread is missing something.  It does really diagram how/where the ALTERNATIVE is suppose to go.  I"M REALLY CONFUSED.  Can someone help?
