Here's my situation

In my first attempt of flashing everything was going fine until the CPU powered down. I had just pressed PhatKey and was probing. I was waiting for the verification (which I think failed) and then the CPU powered down. I then restarted the CPU and it was freezing, I reinstalled the drivers and it stopped  freezing but the DVD drive is not being read. When the 360 is powered on without the PC, it gives the e64 error and the CD drive does not eject. Any assistance would be helpful because I am disappointed from the result of this.

It looks like you erased it instead of reading, the pc powering down would not erase your drive... Can you please elaborate the steps better or post  the jf log

This is as best as I can remember the steps since I cannot redo it being that the drive is not being read.

1-Clicked PhatKey
2-began my probe
3-lifted my probe when I was told to do so
4-powered off the DVD drive as the onscreen message had said to do so
5-so sort of verification failed
6-CPU powered down
Restarted CPU and reinstalled drivers due to CPU running ridiculously slow
7-Launched FL and DVD Drive
8- "Vendor-No Drive Detected!" on all ports
9-Powered on 360 to test, e64 error...disk drive does not eject

sounds like you shorted something that took out both the drive and your PC....

now you will need to do the newly released CPU glitch hack to run XELL on the system and obtain your CPU key, which in turn will enable you to decrypt your KV and obtain your DVD key to insert into a new replacement drive.

you are lucky that hack has come out or else you would have a dvd player only lol

Is not out yet, but is way more complicated than flashing a drive. You'd better seek some skilled assistance to not loose your box. Your drive MIGHT be fixable, if you just did blow a cap or a resistor or something.
Check the forum for somebody in your area. Check the dvd controller board to see if you can find anything weird like blackened or something like that.

Check this topic: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=14040.0
Read it thoroughly. There is a lot of different issues with dvd boards approached over there.
Is a big thread, but you will surely learn something there. And get a multimeter if you wish to go ahead with this.
