Can Jungle Flasher v0.1.89 beta 284 flash the latest Xbox 360?

Hi guys,
I am a newbie as far as Modding Xbox 360 is concerned, actually I am planning to buy a Xbox 360 for my 4 yr kid and I wish to mod it by myself, I just want to know are all Xbox 360 are hackable? I have a PSP and the model I have, was the last model hacked fully all the later models are not fully hackable, they are actually partially hackable (support only RAM based hack) means once we turn of the PSP completely it actually comes on the official firmware.

Is such limitation is also there in Xbox, I mean some specific DVD drive which is not hackable or some specific firmware which is not hackable? All the latest firmware are hackable with jungle Flasher v0.1.89 beta 284.

Here I wish to mention I am a tech savvy person, I can hack PSP also involved in customizing windows 7 as well, I just need a proper tutorial and I am sure I would be able to hack Xbox.

Please help me guys so that I can decide on buying Xbox 360.

I asume you just want to hack the dvd drive so you can play backups.

Start there, and if you manage that then you might even do the reset glitch hack (which is waay cooler) but I suggest you read, read, read and if your done reading.
Then read it all again.

Thanks for your reply, though I have already downloaded the file some 5-6 days back. I am also interested to know what is this reset glitch hack and what it does? I have seen some screenshots of this glitch hack and I presume there are some hardwares also required for glitch hack.

I also wish to know can I use laptop HDD to play games from my laptop's HDD (as external HDD) and can I play games directly from an ISO like we can in PSP?

Ok, I'll give you the hints but you'll have to look it up yourself cause if you can't manage that then you certanly can't do the reset glicht hack.

The reset glitch hack is a hack that uses a complex logical device (cpld) to sent a pulse to scramble the memcmp function in the CB with the entention to run a custom CD and in the end load a completly patched dashboard.

In this dasboard you can run unsigned code (code not validated by microsoft)

Some cool stuff that you could do in a hacked dashboard afterwards:
- Put in any laptop harddrive you like (1TB is currently the maximum that 2.5inch hd's have)
- Patch games so they don't require the dvd anymore
- Load emulators
- Load Linux
- ...

Of course anything is possible when you 'own' the console. Playing ISO's directly isn't supported yet. There are however tools like ISO2GOD that are able to move your iso directly to your xbox without burning them first.
Now in the end it's just better to put your original in the drive and just copy it to the harddrive and patch it so you won't need the dvd anymore. (That's how I do this)
