I have w7 and a sata cable that fits my motherboard i'm really cofident about flashing but first i need to tie up lose ends i have read the manuals but there is so much software available, i have a benq drive by the way.
First hi great to meet you all, i know i got to "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" and i know i got use dosflash and jungleflasher, i really want to know really if you'd be so kind is tell me how do i know i have a sata motherboard.
I have opened up my pc and i have ports in my motherboard and they fit the sata cable.
Where i get mixed up is there is jungleflasher and iextreme LT but what's the difference, i know i got to use dosflash and jungleflash and i followed the manual and it's quite easy to flash but i'm confused by all the differen't softwares, i have burned all my backups already.

You think you know this. You don't even no how to read the forum rules. NO DOUBLE POSTING.
And uhm if you don't even know what a sata port is then I do not think this hack is for you...

Sorry if i said the wrong thing, but i just wanted help that's all ive read all the manuals but it don't show you what a sata motherboard looks like but my sata cable fits, any help would be apprecaited because this guy is charging my family thirty quid a time i said if i learn i would do it for them and myself.

Hint: jungleflasher is the software used to flash firmware to drives from your PC. IXtreme is the firmware that is actually flashed to the disc drive.
Best thing anyone can do is download and read the jungleflasher tutorial from their site. If you cant work it out from that then you should give up.

Please there's no need for name calling you once started yourself, i'm not an idiot and i'm not going to call people an idiot from behind a desk that's easy have some manners, i did google it and actually found nothing only the softwares, i have studied this project for about a month and i watched so many youtubes videos it's unbelievable and have read the tuturials.
What it doesn't tell you is the difference between all the softwares any how i have flashed my box and i'm now doing my cousins, and i'm sorry for double posting but when someone is telling you that this hack isn't for you, they should not be so negative and so judgemenetal if they don't actual know the person, i was only asking for help that's what it says Tech support not this hack isn't for you that's nasty there's no need for it in todays society, quote today is a new day and so is tomorrow.

a sata port is a small rectangular black connector found on the motherboard. and will look the same as the connectors found on the xbox 360 motherboard and the 360 dvd drive.
only a sata cable can fit into this port, so if you have found a port that the sata cable fits into then it must be a sata port.
Jungleflasher is PC program that handles all of the firmware modification/spoofing/flashing etc. its all you need. dosflash does the same thing but is more for advanced users, you wont need this app if you have jungleflasher.
it is very easy to make a mistake during this process which will render your console useless, so please understand peoples criticisms when you come on here and ask fundimental questions that have been answered literally thousands of times. and the fact you cant even identify a sata port is a pretty bad start to a thread titles i know this - you really dont!!
the only tutorial you will need is the JF one stop confusing yourself trying to learn every flashing technique, concentrate on learning the workings of JF and you will be sweet.

Well thanks guys you guys are gold i have flashed two now lol but it's great you guys giving me some great knowledge i really appreciate you guy thanks again well the sata cable fits on the ports so it did flash, thank you.
