Well, via vt6421 works without problem.
No need any converter or any addtional equipments.

Can you be a little more specific?  I couldn't intro 0225 or 0272 with vt6421.

Just update your via drives and it will work fine.

you can dump and flash with ICH7.  you may need to pay arround with the sata port your dvd drive is connected but i defo worked for me.  i also needed to restart my pc after each step.  i.e. get vendor mode, send spi lock, drill.  once unlocked i needed to restart my pc before drive would accept go back into vendor mode.

just for the record , i think the sata socket on the bvoard was the problem ...
but after that  i erase my OFW With JF , and suddenly power off the console!....
now apparently the drive stuck in vendor mode , and openning mode!.....
the sata chipset is VIA  6421 , and it`s not compatible with 0225!
so i should use a sata to USB coverter to connect my drive to pc with sata to usb method and for this things i need to open tray and close one time! ...
but drive stuck in openning and noting happens when i toch open tray ...
i try write lt1.91 with Dosflasher too ... i can press the write button in dosflasher32 but it stuck in "erase..." mode ...

any help ?
 or should i open a new topic?

3. Press Intro Device ID
4. Put the PMT on MPX01
5. MTK Vendor -> Yes
6. Power off -> on
7. done!! Vendor Mode

and, BTW, you've done this f****in question for about 10 times, and you receive for 10 times an answer... if you are NOT capable, then STAY AWAY from the mod...

retry, it should work... maybe you're doing something wrong. spamming not resolve your problem. if you read carefully, you can see that almost 20 user have tried this trick and it works. so if this is not working, you are making something wrong. repeat all the steps.
