hey stoner how do you know when its flash i just saw something it keeped saying that its not in mode b and i kept hitting it like 5 times and the 6 it said completed does that mean its flash and if it is. Is it safe for me to unplug the 46 d drive from my pc

It will say flashing sector (whatever sector its flashing)

I can't tell you if its safe or not to turn anything off, and am not going to.

hey wanted to know if anyone can help me out i have the 46d hitachi drive i have the xecuter kit and sata cable. The drive was picked up by my windows and called it drive J. I go to dos and get to the falsh sceen. I hit any key and says dumping org. firmware then says hit any key to continue when i hit another key i get a error mess saying failed to initated mode b. SO i wanted to know how is it not putting my drive in mode B if it sees the hitachi drive as J can someone please hlep me out thank you so much.

Do you have the debug switch down on the xecuter kit ?

hey adam yea the light is red for the debug but i am doing this hello i have gotten to the flash hitachi screen i hit any key and says dumping files then i hit  another key and says error message FAILED TO INITIATE MODE B can someone please let me know what this means and why its comeing up thank you.
