Congratulations! I tried this test 6 months ago was too destructive, was not a thing to deal with a single mistake or eject the laser does not work   probabily a new solution incoming whitout dremel or small hole .....

Supposing this statement is true, you tried the wrong way 6 months ago without proper software and/or method and you failed...

So with this tool i can unlock every LiteOn Slim Drive up to now?
Or is it only for WinBond?

Use dremel with 0,8mm diamond engraver.
Dremel (genuine) is about 40-70$ Engraver is probably 5-10$  and you allso need a new collet for the engraver 2$ maybe.  

MXIC has a lot easier and safer method. Trident from maximus for exampel
Only winbond. Anyway i dont reccomend you trying this unless you have gotten the key first and have a replacement board. This method is easy for people who know what they are doing.. but if you go around asking such questions... i would think twice. No offence.

takes much more time then drill a little hole.

Or is there a new Solution for MXIC (i have no Lizard only a CK3)

I think this is a valid question, not everyone has the setup to do the MX unlock (ie; Lizzard or suitable SATA card for getting intro on a 0225!)

Its not a valid question. You need compatible sata or a device to do any of these methods. How do you imagine doing winbond unlock wihtout the right sata or device?
MXIC unlock is a lot easier and safer. And there is TRIDENT as i sayed and it does not need lizard or Prousb.
Drilling a hole to this chip - not for noobs PERIOD. MXIC unlock (any other method then drilling) = easier.

Apparently this method uses standard VIA card, Now that I've had time to DL/open/Look at the package I see there is an MX command for unlockSPI also. Agreed: This Mod is not for Noobs!, however: For those of us who aren't we shouldn't be forced to buy a trident (Or TX 're-branded' copy) I can see that we don't, and I will leave it at that :-)

Now that I've seen the photo, I can see why it's done this way, there's not much in it...

danthaman, we are not foced to buy anything, but its good the option is there for those of us who want to use good tools rather than DIY. Or for noobs for that matter.
Right now im unlocking MXIC with the russian method with jungledlasher, as soon as i get the trident i will use that with lizard. Right now im using geremias method to unlock winbond with lizard and dremel (2 out of 2 sucess rate right now). As soon as there is a safer and easier method i will use that. I choose to use porf. made tools to make my life easier There is allways an option not to buy anything.

please reboot your pc, run dosflash32  1.9 and after that it have completed the sata cycle run unlockspi.exe
