Hello, I resoldering the two chips (MT and SPI) and now JF detect the drive. But now I have a new problem. When I put the drive in the console the green light blinking again and the drive opens constantly.I close, it opens, I close it opens.I check all wires and everything looks fine.Somebody with similar problem?
Tevez you're almost there, check if the 5 wires from tray motor and tray position switch were soldered from the edge to the center of board in the following sequence:Black,Red,Yelow,Green and White. if ok now with a multimeter, test if the tray status switch is working properly: 1-tray fully open = continuity between White&Yelow wires. 2-tray fully closed = continuity between Green&Yelow wires, and finaly look for solder short or faulty solder on pins 21/22 of MT controller.

Thank you guys for your help.I noticed there is a short between two wires (tray in and tray out) on the drive when the tray is open.I don't believe there is problem in tray position switch but I will check it.There is no problem in solders on 21/22 pins. The tray open and close normal when I connect it to CK3 Pro.I think the problem is in MT1339e.Will check everything and write again.

@manvslife12 You have wrong. You're swap 5,6,7 and 8 pins on the SPI. Just solder it in reverse. Then your drive still can't find in JF couse is blank. You need to put in Vendor mode.

This switch is for hardware lock for SPI.It's option and you can hardware lock your SPI - just put wire between MPX01 point and Ground.

M$ lock SPI hardware. In this case you make your drive just like M$ lock it.I think it not necessary. If you lock it next time when you need flashing you need to unlock.

Tevez & manvslife12 to hardware lock SPI you must put a wire between pin3 of SPI (WP) and ground.

Whatever, I don't hardware lock SPI.Most import for me it's I decide the problem with ejecting. The problem was resistor R47 in the right side of controller (you can see it on the picture up). So if somebody have problem with tray aways opening just check R47.

Can't Microsoft check for this rather easily? I wouldn't risk it.

I finished my dual firmware mod. Replaced the MT1335 with a MT1339 + two SPI memories. Original firmware is in a Winbond SPI with proper hw and sw locks. Hacked firmware is in a MXIC SPI. Also with different drive key (RGH NAND image got different keyvault and drive key)

All the info you need is in this thread. I may do a schematic for the connection but no tutorial. The dual firmware is part of this switch mod: http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=17584.msg132399#msg132399

Where you parked the 2nd SPI ? Can't see it on the picture. Is it on the other side?
