An ST Labs "S-250" SATA 150 to PATA Converter will also work.
It uses the same JM 20330 chip, I've tested and it worked great.
Unlike the other adapter mentioned this particular adapter is designed to plug directly into any sata device (no sata power and sata data cables) so I had to remove the sata power supply part that would plug into the sata device leaving just the sata data section of the plug.
The adapter has IDE interface on one side, I used a standard IDE ribbon cable and a Molex IDE hdd cable with switch on the 12v+ and 5v+ wires. The switch prevents having to reboot PC after each successful intro.
Set the ST Labs adapter to "Master".
I used a 360 DVD power supply adapter to power the dvd drive.

No adapter needed dumped my 0225 fine with just Via 6421 and old 360 for power,just power drive before booting pc then using older version jungleflasher click slim key then no to slim unlock when message appears for repower in 1 sec pull dvd power and push back in it then dumped key and dummy fine,also dont know if it matters but didnt use official drivers .  |

I keep getting "no drive detected" with PhatKey and in MTK Flash 32, when I try to Intro, I get a variety of status 0x80 when drive is powered on, 0x30 when it's off, and sometimes 0x0. Any idea what may be causing that toxicwiki? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Just to be absolutely sure, I uninstalled the VIA card completely off my system. Reinstalled with the latest scene "recommended" drivers. Tried again but this time scanned through all available ports and finally got the LiteOn detected. My old port that I've been using all these years was always 0XB400 but now is coming up as 0XB800. Everything else works as it has been for the past few years so I'm back in the game after this minor setback. Been flashing phats and slims like normal now!  |

Wow! thats is good news! i have floppy cable of power! And http://www.deal-cool.com/photos/C-HP0139-4.jpg in complectation exist power cable...classik 4 pin > (like floppy 5V) so can i use it? In video, guy just power PD620 as he wants, but exist another methods,( Power solution with PD620, and floppy power method) right? With this setup you will be able to dump :0272/0225/0401/1071 Lite-On drive revisoins using SlimKey.
To get key i want to use phatkey method(POGO MO THOIN (Kiss My Ass, KMA Hack)) What about flashing? When i get key, will i able to flash drive(finaly LT 2.0 comes out)? Do This method gives me full accsees to key dumping\flashing? |

So I can't get full dump. I used JF1.87, I don't know what information missing in Dummy.bin for CFW 1.92 compare to full dump. I been told it is missing laser calibration data, but in my Dummy.bin it already got, so not the case for me. I have done two 0225 drive with VIA card, both Winbond, one with alot PlayDVD error the other one only 50-50% chance. For peace of mind I'm ordering a x360usb pro on the way.
By the way, the video you look is for Fat Liteon, you can use VIA to read and flash no problem.

strange...but exist possible way why you didn`t get full info! 1.do you use VIA6421A with an upgrade? It is not the matter of dvd key. VIA pci sata can get all these files you just list, but it is not the ALL info of this particulate drive, it seems like each slim liteon has its own FW data, need DUMP the fw to get it, can't do with Slimkey.
I have try all method in MTK Flash no go.
