Hi i've recently tried to flash my lite-on 83850C drive and after a bit more research i just realised i needed to purchase a ck3 pro and a probe. However while i was tryin to flash my disc drive, the drive stopped responding. I've got it to respond again but i know i can't flash it. Now when i put a legit game into my drive, on the xbox it says play DVD. I think the original firmware has been deleted.
Does anyone know how i can put the original Firmware back onto the drive?

You think it was deleted? It's pretty hard to accidently delete the firmware, considering Jungleflasher warns you at least a few times before going through with it. You can try to dump the FW and see what exactly happened, but it looks like the key was erased, meaning exactly what donbutta previously stated.

Its like this:

If you are completely sure you wipe the drive, you can get the key by:
- JF Key DB
- Keyvault (this requires JTAG or at least CPU key)

Other than that, no you just bricked the console. Try searching for JF logs, or maybe sabed OFW/CFW somewhere in your computer.

The new firmware update is applied by sectors, so restoring is impossible through this metod.

Thank you again for the comment. I've tried to use JF Key DB but it still didn't work. Another question, Is it possible that i buy another lite-on drive either new or second hand and use that normally with my xBox? Coz i dont want my xbox to go to waste.

You can't use it "normally", cause you don't have your unique dvd key. No key, no games, period.
