most likely due to bad cut and/or bad soldering

cant tell until we see it

both your cuts and soldering are terrible, surprised the drive still works after that!!

far far to much solder and you have exposed all the ground pads around the lines and are seriouslyt close to short circuiting the whole lot.

clean off all the solder, and expose the tracks and make the cut clean.

then try to solder to the points without bridging to ground.
