The last four weeks have seen an unprecedented response to the new X360USB PRO product and the feedback has been nothing short of sensational. Stocks have been wiped out time and time again, the production lines are working 24/7 and resellers have reported record sales – outselling any competitors products by up to 100:1 !

Well, development is always ongoing and we are happy to announce the next level of features and capabilities with the release of the new X360USB PRO HDD HACKER TOOL.

Not only is the X360USB PRO able to communicate with DVD Drives by utilizing built in PortIO and WinAPI functions giving a level of speed and access never seen before, but it can now also connect to Hard Drives and manipulate the data for the first time over USB using any Windows 32bit or 64bit operating system with just a few simple clicks

I would like to think the scene evolves becomes better, moves with the times.
To still be using a dos based program with bootable usb
is like still using iprep and saying it pwns jungleflasher.

I say:  Give it a month until MS reaches out Western Digital and demand them fix their hard drives in a way HDDHackr no longer work because TX made it "too easy" now...

I doubt it, since MS themselves specified the specs and security system for the HDDs.

Yup, by spending MS points to have MS put your XUID and your console ID on the package and then hashing/signing it so the console accepts it as valid.

In layman lingo: buying the games make them work on your console...

ive been a fan of team X since day one, bought many many of their products

even though i knew 80% could be made at home, i enjoyed the simplicity of them

this however is the most pointless POS ive seen them put out yet, next to the blaster360.

its one thing to make life easier when needed, and another to make money when it couldnt get any easier.

What do you mean Gazcoigne ?
This is a free tool for all X360USB PRO users and works superb in Windows over USB - not to mention you can use a laptop / netbook / tablet which you couldn't do before.

read what MODFREAKz said himself

"- 99% of problems appears to be Mainboard chipset (SATA Chipset) or some BIOS configurations (RAID, AHCI, LegacyIDE, ...), not HDDHacker app!!"

Now that problem is solved for all people who use an X360USB PRO.
Some of you just bash for the sake of bashing without actually having a clue what you are talking about. Jelle2503 is a great example.

This is one of the sad things about forums, even decent ones like xbh attract tards. Most of the time, the biggest tards are the ones bashing others, like the person you gave as example! (and they have the cheek to say others havent a clue, lol.)

drivers have only ever been an issue for me whilst flashing drives.

never once has my manboard sata refused to work with hddhackr

and i was referring to the modelled hdd caddy shown on xbox-scene with this news post not the "free" software for the usb to sata converter thats costs £40.

Wow £40 is a good deal, it did cost me more to do exactly what I was doing years ago, tought it would at least be faster.

About the free tool, it will be great as soon as we can flash any drive, for real.

Won't happen anytime soon (unless people start reverse-engineering hard drives from multiple vendors enabling the drives to have their vendor and S/N edited as that's how the HDDHACKR "exploit" works).

Then the Mafia lied, again.

Anyone willing to sell their product would do that. The problem is that there's half a dozen hard drive manufacturers on the market and each one use proprietary firmware, processors and protocols to deal with maintenance mode, vendor IDs and similar stuff. Each drive is put on service mode in a completely different way. HDDHACKR works by exploiting Western Digital vendor specific
(such as maintenance mode and firmware update interfaces) stuff.

Mostly, this post is intended to help other people reading the thread.

Im sure if someone has the time and energy it will be done, since PC3000 is doing exactly this - allowing you to reverse-engineer the hdd at lowest possible level. Now im not sure if Xecutor have plans to support at least the biggest HDD manufactures (Hitachi, Seagate, Samsung), but project like this is certainly doable.

PC3000 ? A full license and the custom hardware for that costs like 25k usd, not ? And who would mispurpose such a expensive piece of software to hack XBOX360 hard drives ?

Im pretty sure you can find it a lot cheaper and once again Xecutor make money from their hardware, actually lots of money. I didn't said its practical i just said that is pretty much doable and if they do it, for once they'll offer something no one else can offer 'currently'. However i think some of the firmwares can actually be reversed (in tool like IDA) to get the vendor commands, but its also possible that my Russian is not that good. I hope there will be some movement here, cause its ridicilious to wait 1 month for a new shipment, just because everyone bought the damn WD's.

One thing I tell you ... I bet Western Digital is happy with the extra demand their drives have. I don't think they would bother with blocking HDDHACKer from working unless by direct Microsoft pressure.
