Is it safe to edit the flash memory manually with xexmenu/fsd (like deleting launch.ini or old dashlaunch files)? I have been told on #freeboot i cannot do that and have to completely reflash the nand instead to prevent corruption. Doesn't sound very convincing though. Tools like fsd installer modify the flash as well. So, safe or not?

personally i wouldnt do it manually quite easy to compile a freeboot image with new dashlaunch files then use 360nandflash to update the whole lot.

flash360 is wick dont use it if you have bad blocks, it doesnt manage them correctly.
