Flashing Samsung M23 With Jungleflasher V0.1.77

After reading a PDF saying M25 has no firmguard, I see I'm supposed to just click Intro/Device Id, but this fails.

Direction? I've been googling for hours. I've dabbled in tons of methods. I first just want to backup the stock firmware. I saw my key and have it saved. But I can't even attempt to flash it if I can't get it in vendor mode.

Your adapter is likely at fault. Most SATA adapters don't support direct hardware commands, so the drive never gets the command to go to vendor mode.
Use a PC with an internal chipset, or with a PCI/PCI-E sata card.

Thanks for the tip. The reason I ordered it was because it states under Features "compatibility - Based on SIL3112 chipset"... So yeah I read this would work. Problem is I only have one desktop, and it's flakey. Is there any PCMCIA card that has the right capabilities? Or could you point me in the direction of a cost efficient PCI card?

The Via 6241 can be had for 10-15 bucks and will work fine.
