a) Some features may not be available at launch but will be later with a secure firmware update

why not say you will be able to read any liteon without cutting traces in a "future" update

if this thing will be able to do so, so will JF... so basically there's no need for the device to do it

but yeah if you want to gain interest from people, just say it will read slim 0225 keys. that'll surely drive sales

no need for this, is obsolete for me, have a PC with nforce and via which does all the tricks this thing can do in order to read/flash drives.

As long as it's not too expensive, it'll be of use to someone.  Not everyone has the appropriate chipset or even the best operating system.

i thought geremia said reading the key wasn't the issue but having a firmware locked drive was.
