Hi

I was wondering whether we need to distinguish between the AP25 protection and Kinnect. I.e. all the newer games have AP25 but they’re not necessarily Kinnect games (ACB, F3, NFSHS etc).
I had assumed that it was possible to flash the new LT+ and play these games without having to do the dash update (that is the non Kinnect games).

When I tried back up of NFSHP I was asked to update dash to play etc. I hesitated for two reasons. 1. I understand that it’s better to flash first. 2. If I flash to LT+ for Benq will I be able to play such back ups without the dash update?

Basically have no interest in Kinnect and less interest in Live.

Many thanks

You are asked to update coz the system update files are on the disc

unless you have jtag you will have to update to play the game.

c4eva has stated that dash update is safe with LT
