Numbnuts needs help pls

Hi to all. Firstly can i just say ive only jtagged 3 consoles so not really experinced as u will hear lol. ok so i have a Falcon board And installed Nand-X.. i have dumped nand 4 time-NO errors and got CPU bla bla. Ok so i used Coolshrimps to make my freeboot and Flashed back to which i kept getting Error 79. Now i have been reading up on this and see various reasons but this isnt my problem!

So with alot going on i decided that i would give up with this console and just flash back original nand and call it a day as my pal wanted to do some stuff with his console too. So afetr everything over the place i decided i would now take off nand x and put console together when after pulling off the wires it dawned on me i forgot to flash first lol. Ok so now i have got all wires down apart from 1. Without pics will explain... The part on Nand x which has the switch.. Not thye yellow wire that goes to the power button on front of console but the Red one that goes to the tiny spec point-that is the point i now cant solder to so i have 2 questions-

 1- Is there an alternative point to which i can solder? Tried searching but not sure on what ive read.

 2- Does the switch part have to be installed when all i want to do is flash back original nand and not Jtag?

you can flash without the j2d2 connections. though there are alternative points for j2d2 should you decide to jtag again. it is likely that if you were having issues jtagging, any poor connections on the j2d2 points (db1f1 you referred to included) will cause e79 specifically. again you only need the j1b1 and j1d2 connections to read/write flash.

Thanks dc_away. oK so now i know it BB1F1 that i messed up and so searched and found this link.. http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55189  And ya can see here there are 3 alternative ways to sort this. I went with the pic diagram (b) by soldering my DB1F1 into the cable of DVD drive. Now when i connect to Coolshrimps all i get is Errors all the way. Can anyone help pls???

Also just realised i cant power up the console now... pls what the hell is going on here?? Im now assuming that now when i try to write nand back and getting Error constant that this maybe why. Any ideas??? Thanks again

incorrect smc maybe? if the image you wrote had the incorrect smc.bin, the console will likely not power up and will not detect flash controller. there are quite a few threads here that tell you how to recover from a bad flash.

I can detect config without no problem and did see a thread about shorting the nand but to be honest i may just out it. Am i safe to ask if anyone interested?? if not then really soory just delete the thread altogether. I do have all Nands inc cpu etc.

send me ur nands and cpu keys and all make you freeboot nands that will work 100% m8
