Noob here, step by step info on where to start with my Xbox 360 s

Hello noob here, before you start having a go at me for posting this. All I would like to know is where to find a step by step tut. on what I can & cant do to my xbox s. I have look through the forums & searched much things but still find it hard to have a starting point. Thanks

you can't jtag an Xbox 360 S (which i presume means Slim)

there's a firmware hack coming, playing your backup dvd's .. that's it

well known information that hardly requires a search... you don't need to be a noob if you can use Google

With a slim you can basicly only mess with savegames.

Jays modding tool
are all good multigame modding tools.

But dont go online with these, you willl get banned.
Just use them on offline profiles.
If youre still paranoid then just place the offline profile on a usb drive and unplug it for online play
(although it wont matter jack-sh*t)

but there is no firmware currently available for the slim Drive......

You can also do case mods
although i wouldnt since the slim case is kinda sweet and you propably dont want to void the warranty...


what you can also do is the rapid fire controller mod.
for that you need a controller that has a Crystal (a rounded wide metal thingy) in the middle of your controller chip board. You need to open it to do so. (ergo void your warranty for the controller)
it just requires a solder iron and some skill as one of the solder points is relatively small.
But use it online too much and you will get banned if someone catches you useing it in an overly obvious way.
And prepare to accept flames concerning being a dick on xbox live.

You will have already heard about Jtagging. But thats completley useless to slim owners as their Dashboard ((software)) has been patched....
And there is only a nanoscopic chance of there ever being a new hack.
Dont count on it.
