Well after hacking another 93450c after about 30 minutes of play the drive attempts to eject itself. It doesn't physically eject, it's as if someone hit the eject button but the dvd didn't come out.
BUT, if I hit the eject button it will physically eject.
Confused?
I watched a game for 30 minutes, the xbox reset with the green light blinking as if I had ejected the DVD, but the drive didn't move.
I then hit eject, the drive comes out as normal and the light keeps blinking.
Then if I the button again it pops back in and plays like nothing even happened.
I'm taking a guess it's got something to do with the dvd modification but i've checked my traces. Gonna do some cleanup on it and test with another game.
Has anyone had this issue before?

Its got to be your repair work on your traces.  Clean it up completely and redo.

Sure enough the cleanup fixed it. I just thought it was a strange error, I think pad 101 wasn't completely reconnected or something. I need smaller probes on my multimeter lol.
Thanks for the feedback guys it's nice to know people are listening =)
