If Xell works, the wiring is ok.

Really? I tested where they had the wires to the normal points with a multimeter and there not matching up?

Edit:
So I wired it normal and tried to boot it to xell. black screen same a the normal power button. So why is xell working with the way the wires where and not now. I looked up the dvd pins and believe the pin the 3 3.3v (http://www.xboxhacker.net/index.php?topic=12352.0).
This a new way to load xell!?

Edit wrong pin number

He may have used the alternative points with a different SMC, which only works with the different wiring (it prevents errors on certain models).

There is something YOU don't know about.

As Arakon said, if you can boot to Xell or Xellous, the JTAG wiring is all good.

Your customer is using alternative wiring with an SMC that is configured to use that alternate wiring.

You have wired it back to the original method, but have not reprogrammed the SMC so it won't boot.

I suggest you take a look at this

http://www.xboxhacker.org/index.php?topic=15214.0

and consider putting the wiring back the way it was to get xell booting again at least.

Now, to get back at the original problem, you need to provide more details.  Did the console work previously or did the customer never successfully complete the hack?  Does the console report an error?

if the customer never successfully complete the hack they probably try'd to install freeboot and didn't build their NAND properly.

Its a jasper 256, they never could get freeboot running. I looked at the link and I never did keep up with all the updating you have done there. Thank you I was looking at all the wrong info. Once I downloaded the pdf file I see now. I also see there missing the 1.k resisters. Again thank you. Grin
